Mr Peter Evans: Chairman
Mr Evans is a Chartered Accountant and was in public practice for almost 20 years as a partner in an international accounting firm before becoming a sole practitioner. He has been a director of the Paul Ramsay Group since 1987. During the past three years Mr Evans has also served as a director of the following listed companies; Ramsay Health Care Limited and Prime Television Limited.
Mr Paul Ramsay A.O: Non-Executive Director
Mr Ramsay is Chairman of the Paul Ramsay Group of companies which have operated for more than 45 years in media, communications, health care and real estate. He is the Chairman and majority shareholder of Prime Television Limited and Ramsay Health Care Limited. Mr Ramsay is a director of the George Gregan Foundation, the Youth Mental Health Advisory Board and the Australian Media Centre. In 2002 Mr Ramsay was conferred an Officer of the Order of Australia for services to the community in health care, regional television services and as a benefactor to a range of educational, cultural, artistic and sporting organizations. During the last three years Mr Ramsay has also served as a director of Becker Group Limited.
Thomas M. Haythe: Non-Executive Director
Thomas M. Haythe is a lawyer who has practiced for more than 40 years in the area of U.S. and international corporate finance, including mergers and acquisitions, public and private financings and corporate restructurings. Over the years, Mr. Haythe has acted as a legal and business advisor to various boards of directors and board committees and has been a director of a number of public companies. Mr. Haythe was the founder and senior partner of Haythe & Curley, a medium-sized international law firm headquartered in New York City. He was educated at Harvard College and Harvard Law School.
Mr Gerard Barron: Chief Executive Officer
Gerard studied a Bachelor of Business at the University of Southern Queensland. He started his first company while still at University, and has now led 20 years of successful entrepreneurial activities within varied industries such as publishing, automotive component manufacturing with plants in China, and Telecommunications with a national wholesale and retail chain which was sold in 1999. Since then Gerard has been an active investor in innovative business ventures in the mining and technology sector. He has been CEO of Adstream since September 2002.
Mr James Carpenter: Chief Operating Officer
With over 20 years in the advertising industry, James has worked with some of the world’s leading advertising groups, including Saatchi & Saatchi, Bates Worldwide and Young and Rubicam, and with international brands including Hunter Douglas, Daewoo Automotive, NEC, Pepsi, Telstra and Toyota. He founded the creative services agency It’s Art, the Australian and London based broadcast production company Steam Motion, and Sound and Big Bang and Fuzz, Australia's second largest library music company.
Mr Richard Carter: Head of Strategy
Educated in England and holding a BSc in Business Studies from the City Business School in London, as well as the Diploma of the British Market Research Society, Richard has had a great depth of experience in creating, developing and executing major brand campaigns. He started his career in UK advertising and in Australia undertook a selection of roles at Young & Rubicam, becoming at one point Managing Director of Foxtel. Since 1997 he has been involved in the creation and development of a series of technology ventures. Richard holds directorships in Asphera Pty Ltd, Kannuu Pty Ltd and Oxygen Pty Ltd.
Mr Brian James: Alternate Director to Paul Ramsay
Brian James is a Chartered Accountant with over 40 years experience in public practice and business consulting. Brian was a partner in PKF, for 28 years holding the position of Sydney Managing Partner and National Chairman. In the last 6 years Brian has carried out consulting assignments for companies including; Paul Ramsay Group, NSW Casino Control Authority and Maritime Industry Finance Company Limited. Brian's experience encompasses a wide range of industries including information technology, e-learning and media and advertising.
Sam Savchenko M.Bus, B.Mgt (S.IM), Cert.Mktg: Non-Executive Director
Sam Savchenko holds a Master of Business from Bond University (Australia), Bachelor of Management and Specialist of International Management from St Petersburg State University (Russia), Marketing Certificate from London School of Economics (UK). A serial entrepreneur, he is currently involved with six businesses across the world in media, healthcare, e-commerce and property. Sam has been Business Development Manager for Paul Ramsay Group since 2007
